I just loved working with Tricia and Adam on their wedding day! I’ve been looking forward to their wedding since their engagement session, they are such a fun couple! We had the most perfect weather and it was such a beautiful day! They had such a beautiful wedding party and I loved their dresses, especially the bride’s dress! It was such a fun-filled day photographing Eliza and Michael’s special day. Eliza was an absolutely stunning bride and the love her and Michael share was so inspiring! We started the day by capturing Eliza get ready and finish up her makeup. The ceremony was lovely, and full of many friends and family to celebrate their day. We had the most beautiful weather for our engagement session today. Ashley and Alec are so in love and it’s so evident in their photography session! I’d have to say that one of my favorite parts about being an engagement and wedding photographer is meeting the people and watching their relationships go from fiancé to husband and wife. I’m so looking forward to their wedding in just a few short months!

Lacey made a most beautiful bride on a crazy amazing Michigan Winter day. It was 50 degrees in December-in Michigan! That never happens! We had beautiful light and it was such an exciting day. We started out at Valor Salon so the bride and her bridesmaids could do their hair and makeup. The owner Amanda was so courteous and closed the whole salon for the day so that the girls could have all the hair stylists! We then met at Paint Creek Country Club so the bride could get dressed and ready to walk down the aisle. Lacey and Scott did things a little bit differently-they saw each other before the ceremony. That is actually my favorite thing to capture, because you get such emotion and excitement when the bride and groom see each other for the first time. We then had a beautiful ceremony and the most perfect light which was beautifully shining in through the windows! The reception was one big party, and was filled with so much dancing! I always love the reception-because it’s full of so much energy! It’s funny how a few years can change so much! Tricia used to be my manager back when we worked at McDonald’s years ago-and a darn good one too! Tricia and Adam are such a beautiful couple. It’s always so fun to work with couples who truly love to be with each other! We walked all over the beautiful and downtown Detroit, and the weather was perfect! (That’s saying a lot for an October day in Michigan!) After a brief search, we were able to find an amazing 9 story high wall with beautiful graffiti. Detroit is full of gorgeous art and scenic views-it is the perfect place for an engagement session! I can’t wait to do their wedding next year-congrats Tricia and Adam!
